China Travel Planning: Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly do I receive with the planning service? After you have provided us with the information we need (normally through a quick questionnaire or phone call) we will design your route and create a bespoke PDF containing the items listed for the Tier you have chosen. You will also receive our General China Guide and you can ask any questions you might have before and during your trip.
Do I have to book everything through you? Not at all. Our goal is to give you total control. We can handle the "hassle-free" bookings for you (like the Forbidden City tickets or private drivers), or you can use our plan to book everything yourself.
Why should I pay for planning when I can use free blogs or AI? Travel rules in China change rapidly, so we will always be up to date in our information. A blog written by someone who only visited China for a holiday does not have the same experience as we do at Eventurus. You are paying for over a decade of on-the-ground experience and real-time knowledge of what is actually happening in China.
What if I need to change the itinerary after the plan is finished? Each package includes as many revisions as needed until you are completely happy with the route, pace, and activities.
Can you help with the visa process? While we are not a visa agency, we can provide the confirmed flight and hotel documentation if you book those through us that you might need for your application. If you book a tour we will be able to provide an invitation letter if needed. We also advise you on the current 2026 entry rules to ensure you are fully prepared.
