Flights & Train to Tibet

Train to Lhasa

We always recommend the Qinghai-Tibet Railway train journey, from Xining to Lhasa, as a fantastic add on for this tour. The train takes around 20 hours and the slow climb helps you to acclimatise better to the high altitudes in Tibet. The journey is also one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world! Book a soft sleeper and enjoy the scenery.
